And speaking of Kristin Chenoweth...

I found this clip of Kristin singing the role of Cunegonde in Bernstein's Candide. This is from the "Live on Broadway" performance, and it's an amazing show; it's a mega-campified version of the operetta, at least, compared to what I'm used to. Anyway, I think it’s a perfect example of Kristin’s talents. She’s funny. She’s cute. And Dayum… girlfriend can sing. Enjoy!

B.T.Dubs… if you liked that and want to see more, the whole show is available on YouTube, starting here. Hey, if you have two hours to kill, there’s worse ways to spend your time. And if you watched the video, you spotted Patti LuPone, which means watching is obligatory.

Nothing to do with operetta, but... have you seen Twilight yet? I was actually checking in to see a post on Edward & Bella (and how HOT Jacob is)! I thought the books were not very well-written, and I have a hard time relating to Bella's love for a stone-cold, blood-sucking, 107-year-old teenager... however the series was completely addictive for me! I liked Jacob better in the books, too. Who wouldn't want to snuggle up to a warm, furry, animalistic best friend? Just checking in on your thoughts on the movie, Reeva. I saw it with a friend who has not read the books, and she kept laughing at the corny scenes (of which there were plenty)... she asked me if there was some inside joke that she had not been told. Anyway, I'd love to hear (read) your thoughts! I hope work is going better for you, and I hope you're having a great day!

PS - I hope I'm not overstepping boundaries by making requests for posts. It's a compliment, right? It's meant to be one, anyway...

@Ashley - Hey girl!

No, I haven't made it to Twilight yet, although it is on my agenda for the Thanksgiving holiday. I've heard mixed reviews, so i'm super-intrigued.

I never really decided which team I was playing for (Team Jacob or Team Edward) - let's just say I loved and hated them both, depending on what was going on. Mostly, I was just wanted to smack Bella. As much as I enjoyed the books, I can't say I ever related to her. Anyway- I will see the movie and I will post about it!

Requests are very much appreciated! Keep 'em comin'...
